Named after Gus the dog at the Lonesome Pine Pub in Red River (NW corner of HWY 38 and Mallette Rd). This route climbs up the flat clean face on the right side of the rock. Use the first bolt of Desperado and then move right. Continue over a bulge to gain the face above. 13 bolts.

This route and the excellent routes to the left are on the highest quality rock that I have climbed in New Mexico.
