Approach to Bihedral

Left Side of the Bihedral Formation

The following four climbs are located on a cliff at the far left side of the Bihedral. Approach as for the bihedral and then cut up and left when the cliff comes into view. There is one previously established route on this cliff: "Geometrics"

Most of the Time 9

On the left side of the cliff, follow a shallow corner system up to the top of the rock. Walk off to the left. Gear small to medium.

Don't Ask 10b

In the center of the cliff, follow a corner up to an obvious short left-facing corner. Gain a ledge and move up and left past a bolt to a short right-facing corner on dark rock. Follow cracks up to the anchor. One bolt and small to medium gear.

Calling All Trad Climbers 10a

This route follows a series of short corners just left of What's Wrong With Parents Today? Ascend a series of short corners with good gear to a steep section with a bolt. Crank past the bolt and gain a ledge below a steep, short finger crack. Power up this crack, and then angle left following cracks with good gear to the anchor. One bolt and small to medium gear.

At the right side of the cliff, left of a chimney/wide-crack, climb up a short corner with two bolts. Reach a steep section and move through the roof (crux) and up to a ramp. Move right onto the arete/face on great holds past two bolts and into a nice crack system. Continue up to the anchors. Four bolts and small to medium gear.

Bihedral Arete

This beautiful climb follows the arete formed by the right side of the Bihedral. From the start of the Bihedral, walk around to the right and get onto the arete. Climb the arete past three bolts (10a) to gain the thin crack of "Dihedral Variation". Place some small to medium nuts, then move up and left and follow the arete past four more bolts to a two-bolt belay. Move up and left, staying below the small fir tree (gear small to medium) to gain the arete at a large horn (enjoy the view here). Climb the arete past three bolts, then a thin crack with small pro, one more bolt, and a two bolt belay (70'). Scramble up and off, or rappel.

This route climbs an arete and face located on the far right side of the headwall of the Bihedral. The best approach is to take the Happy Hour Crag trail to its end, and then traverse the hillside to the left. Be very careful here, as the Riviera climbing area is below. 6 bolts to a two-bolt anchor.
